Stantec Consulting Ltd. has been chosen to guide the Yukon’s Flight Path Aviation Strategy.
The $187,465 contract will draft a vision of Yukon aviation for the next 10 years and identify where investment is needed. The first-of-its-kind strategy will build on years of technical data, research and stakeholder feedback to show where Yukon aviation is now and where it can go in the future.
In the coming months, governments, communities, industry stakeholders, experts and the public can weigh in on what matters to them and identify where the Government of Yukon should invest in the aviation system. The strategy will be a living document that can adapt to changing conditions and expand to support future growth.
The aviation industry is critical to the territory, so it is vital this plan shows its current strengths and shortcomings and captures what people want to see in the future.
