Literacy is a fundamental skill that provides the foundation for lifelong learning and allows people to understand and participate in all areas of society. It also contributes to a skilled workforce that supports our economic and social wellbeing. I encourage you to nominate Yukoners who are making exceptional contributions in adult literacy.
Across the Yukon, innovative literacy leadership happens every day, often behind the scenes. I encourage you to help honour leaders who support, inspire and share ways to strengthen adult literacy skills by nominating them for this prestigious award.
